Our Journey to Forever George

We’re so excited to share a little bit of our love story with you.

It all began on a night out with a mutual friend. We happened to be dressed alike and looking so much like a couple that it instantly broke the ice—and maybe even felt like the first sign. Still, it wasn’t until a few months later, when we crossed paths again at the same friend’s birthday party, that our story truly began to unfold.

Not long after, we spent our first weekend together—a time that turned out to be more meaningful than either of us expected. She made the effort to come see him, and that simple gesture meant so much. Between pool time, a nail shop visit, great food, and endless laughter, we realized how natural and easy it felt to be around one another. That weekend became a special starting point in our journey.

Over time, there were moments that confirmed what our hearts already knew. For him, it was the first time she came to visit, when her presence simply felt like home. For her, it was seeing him go out of his way to help a stranger, revealing the generosity and selflessness that defines his character.

Some of our favorite memories have come from traveling city to city—his work often takes him on the road, and she looks forward to visiting new places alongside him. Each trip gives us the chance to share new experiences, discover great food, and create memories that we’ll carry forever. But just as much, we love the quiet moments—doing absolutely nothing, yet feeling complete in each other’s company.

The proposal was the perfect surprise. On Laura’s birthday, what started as a thoughtful day of brunch and a museum turned into an unforgettable moment when she walked into a room filled with love and the question that would change everything. She said yes with a heart overflowing with gratitude and joy.

What we love most about each other is simple but powerful. He admires her love of the Lord and her humble spirit. She cherishes his generosity, his philanthropy, and the way he pours himself into helping others. Together, we balance, encourage, and inspire each other.

As we look forward to our future, we’re excited for a lifetime of travel from city to city, endless food adventures, laughter, and meaningful memories—not only with each other but with the family and friends who make this journey even sweeter.
